is the Matrix really your favorite film?
one of the things i like about my favourite film 'the matrix' is that it says
the future has arrived but it is disguised as its own past.
that's the situation we find ourselves in.
the material world is subject to time but information is, in a very real sense, outside of time.
yeah that was good! did i write something clever back? i feel like i did but maybe i just thought it and didnt say it
which music alleviates dematerialisation? which music works counter to digitalisation?
kendric llama (one for tea)? solange? hauntology?
close reading please luke:
on the one hand brittle and textural. on the other apathetic, it's colour is kubrik-light like a computer screen.
dematerialistion or the rejection of it?
sorry thirdform. i wasn't aiming the gaslighting thing at you.
but please understand how it feel having people literally trying to deny dematerialisation
WITHIN A DEMATERIALISED AND DISEMBODIED SPACE!!!!!!!!!
you can see how that might feel obtuse to the point of reality-denying
(not that im suggesting that this is a worse fate than being locked in solitary confinement and having your own family try to destroy your experience. of course it is on a very different scale)
