Had 50+ of my favourites go awol flying home from the east coast on one occasion. No-one else should have to shoulder such a trauma. For a few hours BA stated they had my precious luggage, until they didn’t

I've taken as hand luggage quite a few times - way over the weight limit but sometimes they are quite lenient, there is one airline that is really nice, maybe KLM, I forget. Normally what I do is stand back and let Liza argue. In fact that can apply to lots of circumstances. There is a club here called Harbour which opens at about 6am and which has a weird bar. When you go in they give you a card and you hand it to the barman each time you buy a drink... then when you leave you have to settle the balance on the card. It's a transparent method to get loads of wasted fuckheads to spend loads of money they don't have at 10am in the morning - plus I bet they fine the fuck out of you if you lose it. Anyway, we left and Liza took issue with the total, so me and this girl I'd just met sat outside by the river for about half an hour watching the boats while Liza gave the staff a huge bollocking.

Oh but you mean dj-ing in the US right? Yeah that could be problem couldn't it? I guess it's not gonna be something I have to think about in the near future though sadly. I just want to blag some gigs in Sevilla or Cadiz or something, somewhere I could drive in a few hours. Or Madrid, can get train straight from Lisbon.

I used to be a member of another forum like dissensus but all record collectors called Vinylvulture (later VeryGoodPlus) and we used to have a deal with this pub in Angel where we would have their back room for the first Monday of every month and a load of us would turn up and play all our latest finds to each other. The locals would listen in horror as we played stuff like this







It was really good fun actually cos there were a load of regulars who lived in London but also other people all round the UK and even the rest of the world who might pass through and bring some stuff.
