Just amazing video where he does that massive (real) fart in the middle of giving testimony in the massive (fake) hearing - and you see Jenna Ellis hear it, and then smell it, and then look at him all disgusted. Can you catch Covid via flatus?

Anyway, back to the kraken - in Wisconsin Mad Sidney alleges "egregious" conduct using the Dominion voting machines in eight Wisconsin counties... but seems she's run into another one of those tiny problems that have dogged her efforts so far, turns out that only two of those counties use Dominion, and Trump won both of those.
Is this woman THE worst lawyer of all time? Is she doing it on purpose? She is fucking hilarious either way, she makes me burst out in genuine laughter several times a day.

And now Texas is suing a number of suits at the Supreme Court to strike off their electors....

The State of Texas has filed a lawsuit directly with the U.S. Supreme Court challenging the election procedures in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin on the grounds that they violate the Constitution

I mean, I know nothing of US law but this sounds like a new kind of batshit, am I right?

But they must be right... check out the maths on this one

So if Biden had a one in a million billion trillion gazillion chance of winning those states then why bother voting in the first place eh?

Looks as though maybe you can cos she's now tested positive.

also love the equivalent logic of saying "we were winning the match all the way up to the 80 minute mark and then all in a sudden the other team scores goals and beats us, how could that be???"

Latest defeat for Trump. So many suits, brought to throw out votes, then to prevent certifying of states, then to decertify the certified states. Today the attempt to decertify Georgia failed and so Trump has now lost 50 suits. Fucking 50!

Supreme Court declined to take up the GOP attempt to overturn the PA vote. Of note, there were no public dissents released in the court's brief decision.

Oh that is good news.
But the assault is relentless... before the election loads of attempts to make it harder to vote. After the election attempts in almost every swing state to throw out votes they didn't like. After that didn't work they launched a suit in every state to try and stop the counted votes being certified and awarded to Biden, then they tried to uncertify them - again via the courts, you have the crazy kraken bullshit alleging fraud, and the Rudy/Jenna covid spreading hearings that have no legal force but which present loads of dubious evidence for PR and put pressure on states to cancel the certification or to launch investigations, then Trump personally contacted the governors of at least three states and asked them to overturn the vote and ask the state legislature to appoint the electors rather than the voters. All of the above legal suits have been appealed as many times as possible. They're just gone to SCOTUS with the Pennsylvania mail-in things, they've got Texas going to SCOTUS to claim that the swing states managed their elections wrong and they should do it like Texas... and you will have more jiggery pokery with the electors and so forth. The attempts to overthrow democracy are relentless and hydra-headed, coming thick and fast every day... luckily they're mainly incompetent and the judges have stuck to the law so far. But Blimey, US democracy is under a huge and sustained attack from Trump. It's insane.

the institutions have held firm, none of this noise has gotten any traction even from state GOP governors/lawmakers and GOP-appointed judges and now the Supreme Court. it's not a serious attack, it's play acting to give cover to trump. political kabuki theater.

But they might not have done. Only a couple of cracks might have been significant. Also the GOP congress is basically complicit with Trump and about a quarter of the country are convinced they have been robbed and that democracy has been subverted. Although now they're all telling themselves that the SC rejected the Pennsylvania thing cos they're gonna take the case from Texas which would destroy the PA vote and many others. So all is ok in MAGA-land still.
