Whatever you do don't include a slide about his micropenis. I've seen it, and even I think somewhat less of him now.

I almost saw her standup recently because my friend’s coworker performs with her regularly. Twitter’s self-righteous nasty side hasn’t changed one bit

it's just that they all look so similar to eachother no? all very skinny and very white? but new york is so diverse so that's odd i think

Is @sus still in love with this guy?

i read this, it was hard to read and a bit boring, mixed with these little glamorous vignettes of him and his mates sitting in airports in venice. it is good though if people like him are beginning to turn against the identity thing in galleries, coz it is a bit annoying by this point, simply coz of its ubiquity. the whitney biennial that he's talking about was pretty rubbish for exactly the reasons he gives, that was my impression as well.

I guess I feel like a Dimes Square fuckboi talking about how social justice ruined art, and how great things were in the Oughts, feels predictable and 5 years late

I mean come on we all know what vizart was like in the 2000s they bedazzled exotic animals and made gifs for galleries. It wasn't that great

Politics have been the dominant consideration in visual art circles since Ferguson. The wave crested with the Biennial which means it's already halfway over. Everyone I know in New York is talking about the second vibe shift, which is like the first vibe shift in 2020, except for normies. And the 2020 vibe shift is really when it felt like these sorts of reactionary cultural positions mainstreamed among the hipster class.

Shmucks who make Utterly Obvious Positiontakings like, their Whole Schtick or whatever, will doubtless repeat themselves til Kingdom come, and they'll ride the wave of popularity as these ideas become increasingly safe/acceptable/predictable on platforms like Harpers

But there is nothing that will be said, for all the e-ink, that wasn't said by more interesting, braver posters pre-2020
