there's two distinct groups isn't there. the brooklyn culture mafia you started this thread with are the LES lot. there's the other culture mafia which is at nowadays and dripping and loves ketamine so on that's actually in brooklyn. i can't believe you'd destroy your own legacy by conflating the twoNo the Brooklyn Culture Mafia is traditionally quite woke and progressive, high in POC representation. It's the LES/Chinatowners you'd theoretically worry about, but they're mostly just apolitical or lightly conservative

Yes it's really disappointing.there's two distinct groups isn't there. the brooklyn culture mafia you started this thread with are the LES lot. there's the other culture mafia which is at nowadays and dripping and loves ketamine so on that's actually in brooklyn. i can't believe you'd destroy your own legacy by conflating the two
@luka lets kill himYes it's really disappointing.
These people were more Brooklyn based when I started the thread. E.g. I think Red Scare originally broadcast out of a Williamsburg apartment and were more strongly linked w the Brooklyn Chapo scene they're now contrasted with. Big event at Union Hall kicked off their rise to fame. But yes, it was poorly named in retrospect
Tbf that's both scenes. Just different drugs. Uppers and ket vs weed and shrooms.all the weird people who love drugs
