Anyway, thought of a sitcom on lunch about a herd of cows, UFO’s and possible scenarios involving fear, experimental science and comedy. Like George Orwell meets the X-Files meets Sesame St

Sprinkle with History channel investigative quacks, stereotypical farmers on the make and ambiguities that tip over into probabilities of ruined relationships, disfigurement and madness

If you’re reading this it’s free but I want a writing credit before HmmGuv Covid memes it

To honor this thread making it 100 pages, we announce news that FTX, one of the biggest centralized crypto exchanges and financial firms, has gone belly up:

Thankfully I wasn't holding anything on FTX, but I lost around $1,400 when Celsius went under - although to my knowledge they are still ostensibly attempting to restructure their obligations to cover depositor funds, but I'm not too confident at this point.

Anyone know whats going on Credit Suisse?

I think its too low at the moment and due a bounce. Should i buy the dip yet again

One of my favorite expressions is from Wall St: the dead cat bounce. Even mortally wounded stocks get a small, brief bump after a crash before finally going under. There are always people who think "ah, what the hell, maybe it's just a dip".

I haven’t heard anything about FTX electioneering, and the whole FTX thing is pretty much all we’re talking about in the web3 space.

Well-known member

yesterday I read a takedown of the FTX debacle that insinuated that it was all due to stimulants

which has since been expanded upon

extremely rich people using ill-gotten gains to influence politics is the exact opposite of a startling new development

what else have the Kochs, Scaifes, DeVoses, etc been doing for the last many decades? among countless other examples

it would be a huge surprise if SBF + co hadn't been doing it
