a genuine question, and i can understand there can be multiple versions of a good movie, but is there much reason for me to watch any of these nosferatu films when i can just watch the coppola dracula movie?

They handle the vampire totally differently. There's none of the sweeping romance and glossiness of Coppola's in the other films. The Herzog one's ice cold and Kinski's Dracula's like watching a tapeworm. Wretched, parasitical thing squirming around.

The first time I saw the Coppola one I thought it was hilariously bad but it's grown on me. The worst thing is Keanu's accent which makes it hard to take any of it seriously at first.

I knew Natassja did. But I meant that the thing about shagging his co-star may have been a lie as I understand a lot of the stuff in his book about him fucking every single woman who ever came within 100m of him may be just fantasy.

I mean every single one, not every one that was single obviously, I hardly think he drew the line there.

I remember now, think I saw Nosferatu (Herzog) in the cinema and it is mainly very atmospheric etc but I do remember that bit that's in the trailer when she drops the tray and my friend leaned over and said "Seriously acting has got better in the last 20 years".
