Beast of Burden
I was looking up point break scenes to post here and I realised there's too many classic scenes to pick one

It makes me think of starting a thread about the best screen faces ever, including Keanu, cos he's got a great face, albeit one of the worst actors around

Keanu is fantastic in this film, but he's also fantastic in the Bill and Ted movies, Speed, The Matrix, John Wick and the video to Paula Abdul's 'Rush Rush'.

Maybe we need to accept the fact that he is a good actor. 'Competent' doesn't necessarily mean 'good' on the screen.

Point Break has a very high ratio of classic scenes, lines and moments, not Ghostbusters high but high nonetheless.

bandz ahoy
There's a great bit in Point break where his love interest says "you're doing that face again, Johnny!"

The face he does 99% of the time you mean?

This is roughly how i imagine the dudes meetup went

Or maybe this

@sus @line b @Clinamenic @mvuent @kid charlemagne

i should revisit this film, foundd dit pretty underwhelming despite it being very suceptible to my film sensibilities (california, crime, heists, keanu), but my favorite bit is actually the last skydiving scene where swayzee says "you want me so bad its like acid in your mouth"..... ive said that to multiple women

Always associated it with US rioting in 92 despite it being released the previous autumn, possibly Jan or Feb 92 the earliest viewing caught, time gets hazy around said period for a mass of reasons

Whenever I see it referenced the reel of the trucker getting a brick/object to the head wafts up, one of those life moments caught from a distance on news cam where you cannot fathom another human’s logic (why didn’t he just foot down and gas right over the cunts?)

Anyway ..

I tried SO HARD* to imitate his style during the month of "cycling through selves" where I assumed his moniker and I totally failed, I was accused of using AI but he is hard to imitate, there is nothing to grab on to, he is a chimera

"I" do not know who "I" am

a "near death" episode with butane when "I" was 14 made "me" realise "I" am dead, "I" am alive, "I" could be "you", "you" could be "me", "we" are all one, "we" are all:

"shakahislop"

"you" can't kill "kill"

"shakahislop" is "you" and "shakahislop" is "me"

I've found a tiny seedy club in the "northern quarter" of Manchester where I want to install a free party sound system in the dark and dank basement, 100 people bashed by bass will produce condensation, one red light, one strobe plus drugs and dry ice

I'm going to call it SPACED OUT LOVE CABBAGE SOUND SYSTEM presents william_kent at the controls
