The problem lies deeper. There is a hard core of extremists on this site who seem to prefer agreeing to disagreeing. The natural state of man is in conflict.
Why you complaining about people disagreeing with you then?

Also version, I'm afraid that new avatar does not suit you. It lacks a certain mystique.
Well there he merely lacks the requisite tension between HMGovt or Chava, IE its not really exciting for anyone participating or observing.I'll accept the dedication to conflict when Biscuits argues with HMGovt and Chava the way he does Tea.
I appreciate yr efforts at common sense but cmon dude this whole line of attack is so dumb that it's not worth engaging. I mean "haha dissensus more like CONsensus amirite" is on the level of I'm rubber you're glue, when you hear it coming from an adult you just feel embarrassed for them. Biscuits just wants to drag you into his typical sealioning bullshit.I don't think you can call a place prone to pages and pages of insult and argument, where you can say whatever you want, "consensus.com".
I think we need to finally address the elephant in the room, and thats why version can't stick with an avatar for longer than it takes for a new regional crisis to emerge.
Once quantum computers become consumer-grade, I'm gonna hack your system and wear each of your avatars one day before you.I've a complex and secretive system explaining how each image moves with the rhythm of the day.
Perhaps we're all male lesbians now?If the natural state of man is conflict then there should be tension, particularly since those three are evidently the most masculine on this "feminised" forum.
Dissensus has been feminized
It's been crystal clear from day oneThere was a good discussion of the hypocrisy of so-called free speech advocates yesterday here. Their apparent principles have completely gone out the window when it comes to Israel.
I don't mean all of them - Glenn Greenwald himself opposes cancel culture and limits on free speech to a large extent (as would I). But some of the right-wing and liberal critics of cancel culture have exposed themselves as completely disingenuous if that wasn't clear already.
Back on topic, Blinken said today that the endgame in Gaza should be a handover to the Palestinian Authority, so the groundwork for that eventuality is already being laid
It's been crystal clear from day one
People yelling about cancel culture are generally the same exact people who want to ban books, ban queer people from public life, mandate their own fantasy version of history (i.e. "slavery taught slaves useful skills"), etc.
Scratch a self-proclaimed free speech absolutist and 99/100 you'll find someone who actually wants the freedom to say whatever he wants without consequence and the ability to ban whatever he doesn't like. And usually what they want the freedom to say without consequence is that black people or Jews or trans people or feminism or whatever are the evil root of all society's ills.
I haven't felt motivated to upbraid Chava for anything because I consider him the most oppressed member of the forum. As for HMGovt I think it's acceptable to partner up albeit always serendipitously like two maverick Tom Cruises buzzing the Death Star along different flight paths. The mob-handed rabble of the prorg circle jerkers is several steps of solidarity too far, however.I'll accept the dedication to conflict when Biscuits argues with HMGovt and Chava the way he does Tea.
