These are written by idiots who have no awareness of what happens in urban wars, in which children are purposely involved by one of the sides. Considering Hamas have recruited children and have intentionally mixed their activities into the civilian population one child dead every 2 days seems to attest more to IDF scrupulousness in avoiding children rather than trying to nab as many children as they can. In fact, none of this squares with esteemed miliary historian Andrew Roberts saying that the IDF are probably the most careful proponents of urban warfare ever.

In short, you need to read more about urban warfare, find out some base rates for casualties and then compare to the base rates. Otherwise all of this is meaningless blather from people who are just hugely ignorant and naive about war, and also with no alternative plan of how Hamas might be eliminated.
