"Biden wins mail ins. Trump takes it to supreme court. supreme court rules in favor of Biden. faith restored in charade. Biden continues privatization process but urban professional classes relieved. central banks around world continue to pour fiat into money supply. national currencies become worthless. central banks introduce CBDC. global surveillance system integrated into global cryptocurrency. people begin to realize building shaped like boot in switzerland is actually world government. people realize counterculture already destroyed in late 20th century, can't opt out. doesn't matter anyway because Apophis hits 2036."

Making the most of my victory. It was obvious Trump couldn't win a second time. It was too extreme an experiment. It will probably end up a landslide.

  • Trump, if he loses, may signal he'll run again in 2024.
  • By falsely claiming to millions of adoring voters that the election was stolen — and by dangling the possibility of redemption in 2024 — Trump can effectively freeze his party for four years.

Mitch McConnell looks to be the big winner. He's got the supreme court, he's probably going to retain control of the senate and he no longer has to work with Trump.

Can someone explain what's going on here?

se la suda basically means "he doesn't give a fuck". it literally means "he's sweating", so it's like an ironic version of "no sweat" in English.

which Sleepy Joe is demonstrating by fisting Trump up to the wrist. it's a very "Calvin pees on things" take on the election but yunno, with fisting.

I can't support any depiction of violating a person's sexual autonomy, even a man who has openly bragged about sexually assaulting women

and I can't think that having Trump held down by a literal embodiment of faceless brown immigrant hordes is a good idea

but it's certainly an image that sticks in your head, like the 2020 update of lemon party that no one asked for.

I enjoyed the argument on Beeb with the woman from Black Voices For Trump. She claimed there was evidence of voter fraud, he corrected her, she argued.
And after she signed off he rather childishly said "Just to clarify that point - there has been no evidence whatsoever of vote fraud."

He'll be nearly 80 by then. Surely a merciful God won't let him live that long?

If Biden wins is it going to be possible for him to undo some of the damage Trump's done or will he be blocked by congress as Obama (apparently) was?
some he could just undo, some will be more difficult

how it basically works - Congress makes laws, the President decides how they're carried out

the President does that with executive orders and by appointing people - Cabinet etc - to run parts of the federal govt

so he could, as soon as inaugurated, reverse any of Trump's executive orders. that happens to some extent every time the WH switches parties.

would cover stuff in a bunch of areas - immigration, environment (he'd probably return U.S. to Paris Agreement), ending Trump's ongoing war on civil servants, etc

but he'll almost certainly struggle to get legislation passed and to get appointees confirmed by the Senate

and I don't think he'd be able to do much to unfuck the absolute catastrophe Trump has made of COVID, tho could at least stop compounding it, by yunno conspicuously wearing a mask, not feuding with the country's top immunologist, etc

The standards for each candidate are interesting. I'm getting the impression a narrow win or loss for Biden's seen as a problem for the Dems and requires a period of reflection, but a narrow win or loss for Trump validates him and the GOP can just carry on as normal.

thats what Im thinking. I doubt Biden runs again though so the dems have some years to figure out a new platform
