But if Netanyahu were removed wouldn't he likely be replaced by someone worse(?), because he would have picked yes men directly under him who would be harder line to give him wiggle room in the less popular hardline direction in case he wanted to go there. The same applies to Hamas. In other words, a leader picks help who want to do the things he does only more so, not people who want to do something else or less of what you're doing.
