you have to try to appeal to basic principles like that. but then you realise some people on the other side think the same way, i.e. Israeli lives have less value, they deserve to die now because they're supporting genocide. it's OK to kill someone for their views, etc.
there's no principles it eventually just becomes tribal on both sides.

except weirdly one side isnt even part of the tribe lol they're just white british people watching from another country but anyway

someone's gonna say "yeah but the situation is completely unequal so don't draw equivalence" - missing the point tho. when there's no principles it makes arguments against Israel ineffective (killing civilians is no longer a red line), fails to get neutral people to care, and fuels a sense of justification on the Israeli side ("if the tables were turned you'd be doing this to us, so why shouldn't we do it to you")

When the covid epidemic was in effect. Trump kept calling it the kung-flu (which is funny) and blaming the Chinese, there was a noticeable uptick in random violence against Asians who may just look Chinese (Korean/Japanese Americans), The interesting part is that those committing the violence where people you wouldn't think of as MAGA/Trump types. The media is working us over at all times.
When the relatively new narrative that Jews/Isreal are one and the same,...The nut bags that attack people like that are presumably just taking Bibi at his word. Israel = Jewry = Israel.

it's all died down in nyc, it's all ran out of steam, people have by and large moved on to the next thing. the sticker wars are over. the pro-israel billboards are gone. it's summer and i haven't ran into a single protest. people aren't mentioning it. everyone's moved on to domestic concerns. except djs on insta actually, they keep posting about it.

Maybe not in Manhattan. If you take a Leisurely stroll through the Jewish neighborhoods in Bklyn/Queens there's plenty .
